Recipe: Melon Vision - Popping Watermelon Mojito
Aug 30th 2025
A playful twist on a mojito that layers creamy oat milk, bright citrus, and a sparkling surprise of watermelon pop rocks. The nitro whipped topping makes it café level indulgent, while the popping candy adds a nostalgic burst of fun.
Ingredients
• 1 sachet Forchewn Melon Vision
• 1 g lime juice (about 0.25 tsp)
• 1 g lemon juice (about 0.25 tsp)
• 1 to 2 sprigs fresh mint
• 60 g simple syrup (about 2 oz)
• 400 ml oat milk (about 13.5 oz) — we like Organic Minor Figures
• 5 g mint extract (about 1 tsp)
• Ice, as needed
• 1 nitro whipped cream charger
• 1 sachet watermelon flavored pop rocks
Equipment
• 1 whipped cream dispenser
• 1 cobbler cocktail shaker
• 1 cup, 300 ml (about 10 oz)
Instructions
-
In the whipped cream dispenser, combine 45 g simple syrup (about 1.5 oz), oat milk, and mint extract. Keep in the fridge to chill.
-
In the cocktail shaker, add 1 sachet Melon Vision and 200 ml room temperature water (about 7 oz). Stir until dissolved.
-
Add lemon juice, lime juice, and 15 g simple syrup (about 0.5 oz) to the shaker.
-
Fill the shaker with ice and shake until the metal is too cold to hold.
-
Add ice to your cup. Remove the shaker top and pour the mixture through the built in strainer into the cup.
-
Charge the whipped cream dispenser with one nitro cartridge and shake aggressively for 30 seconds.
-
Top the drink with the whipped cream until the cup is full.
-
Garnish with a sprig of mint and sprinkle watermelon pop rocks over the cream.
